Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to translate business strategies into actionable HR initiatives.
- Lead organizational design and workforce planning to ensure optimal talent distribution.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and providing coaching to managers.
- Drive performance management cycles and succession planning for key organizational roles.
- Analyze HR metrics to provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Oversee local compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and international best practices.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in strategic workforce planning and organizational development.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Deep understanding of Ethiopian Labor Law and employment regulations.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Proven ability to manage change and lead organizational transformations.
Education
A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration (MBA), or a closely related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree with significant advanced professional certification (such as SHRM-CP or CIPD) may be considered in lieu of a Master’s degree.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a business partner or strategic advisory capacity. Experience working within a professional services firm or a large multinational corporation is highly preferred. You should have a proven track record of managing complex employee relations and driving talent development programs.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 75,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and performance during the interview process.
