Job Overview

The Telecom Regulatory Affairs Specialist will serve as the primary liaison between Safaricom Ethiopia and national regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all licensing, spectrum, and policy requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze telecommunications regulations, policies, and legislative developments in Ethiopia.
  • Prepare and submit licensing applications, spectrum requests, and compliance reports to the Ethiopian Communications Authority.
  • Develop and maintain a regulatory compliance framework aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Advise product development, legal, and senior management on regulatory implications of new services.
  • Represent Safaricom Ethiopia in stakeholder meetings, public consultations, and industry forums.

Education

Professional certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or similar will be considered an advantage.
