Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Hydrological Modeling Specialist to join our technical team in Semera. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and calibrate sophisticated hydrological models to simulate water cycle processes in the Afar region.

  • Collaborate with field engineers to integrate real-time sensor data into existing modeling frameworks.
  • Produce technical reports and maps to support community-based water management strategies.

Required Skills

Education

Experience

Candidates must possess at least 5 years of professional experience in hydrological modeling, preferably within a development or environmental consultancy context. Proven experience working in arid or semi-arid environments is highly desirable. Experience with large-scale water resource management projects in East Africa is a plus.

Salary
