Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end process design and scale‑up for new product introductions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Analyze existing production lines to identify bottlenecks, implement lean manufacturing techniques, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and validate process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors to specify, install, and commission new machinery and automation systems.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, throughput, and energy consumption, and generate actionable insights.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in process engineering, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.

  • In‑depth knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in manufacturing process engineering within a large‑scale production environment. Prior experience in the consumer goods sector, especially within Unilever or comparable multinational companies, is preferred.
