Job Overview
The Senior Financial Risk Analyst will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks that could impact the bank’s stability and profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced quantitative models to assess credit, market, and liquidity risks.
- Conduct regular stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of economic shifts.
- Collaborate with the compliance and legal teams to ensure all risk management activities align with local and international regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports for the Board of Directors and senior executive leadership.
- Monitor emerging financial trends and geopolitical shifts that may affect the bank’s portfolio in Ethiopia.
- Provide expert guidance to business units regarding the risk implications of new financial products.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python, or SAS.

Education
A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is mandatory. Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of direct experience in financial risk management, preferably within a commercial or investment banking environment. Salary
