Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, general ledger management, budget monitoring, tax compliance, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. The position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting to management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
- Review journal entries, ledger postings, and reconciliation reports.
- Monitor cash flow, operating expenses, and budget performance.
- Coordinate external and internal audit processes.
- Ensure tax compliance and timely submission of statutory returns.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is advantageous.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience preparing audited financial statements.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and taxation regulations.
- Previous exposure to telecommunications, banking, manufacturing, or large corporate environments is desirable.
- Experience supervising finance teams is an advantage.
