We are seeking a Senior Environmental Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Gondar, Ethiopia. This role will provide technical expertise and support to our conservation efforts in the region, with a focus on sustainable land use planning and ecosystem management.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support to our conservation efforts in the region, with a focus on sustainable land use planning and ecosystem management.
- Develop and implement sustainable land use plans and strategies for our conservation projects in the region.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and private sector partners, to promote sustainable land use practices and ecosystem conservation.
- Conduct field assessments and monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of our conservation efforts and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets and project plans to ensure effective use of resources and achieve project goals.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in environmental sustainability, conservation, or a related field.
- Strong technical expertise in sustainable land use planning and ecosystem management.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with local stakeholders.
Education
Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
