Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
Donor Management & Reporting
- Draft high-quality project proposals, concept notes, and donor reports
- Manage donor compliance and contract tracking systems
- Support budget narrative preparation in coordination with finance teams
- Maintain donor relationships and represent the programme in meetings and events
- Track project outputs, indicators, and logframes for accurate reporting

Communications & Advocacy
- Produce programme reports, infographics, brochures, and presentations

- Draft monthly Situation Reports (SITREPs)
- Collaborate with HQ communications teams for global messaging alignment
External Engagement & Partnerships
- Represent HALO Trust in donor meetings, workshops, and public forums
- Support stakeholder engagement with government, NGOs, and partners
- Assist in managing due diligence processes and documentation
- Coordinate visits from donors, partners, and delegations

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL)
- Track programme outputs and performance indicators
- Analyze data to identify gaps and improve programme delivery
- Support evaluations, reviews, and learning exercises

- Work with MEAL teams to strengthen accountability frameworks
Safeguarding & Gender Mainstreaming
- Promote safeguarding policies across all programme activities

Programme Support & Administration
- Provide administrative and coordination support to Programme Manager

- Support strategic documentation and reporting processes
- Assist in operational coordination across field and HQ teams
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- International Relations
- Development Studies
- Social Sciences
- Project Management
- Communications or related field
Advantageous:
- Certification in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)
- Training in humanitarian coordination or donor management
- Knowledge of GIS, data visualization, or reporting tools
Experience Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in:
- NGO programme coordination
- Donor reporting or grant management
- Monitoring & evaluation (M&E)
- Humanitarian or development sector roles
- Experience working in conflict-affected or fragile environments is an advantage
- Strong background in writing reports, proposals, and communication materials
