Job Overview
The Management Consulting Analyst will support senior consultants and partners in delivering end‑to‑end consulting engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients in Ethiopia. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous market analyses, developing strategic frameworks, and synthesizing data into actionable recommendations. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping client strategies, optimizing operations, and fostering innovation across sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, public policy, and technology. As a key member of the consulting team, you will engage directly with client stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and contribute to the creation of high‑quality deliverables that reflect McKinsey’s standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to support client projects.
- Develop strategic recommendations and implementation roadmaps tailored to client objectives.
- Prepare client presentations, reports, and data visualizations that communicate insights clearly.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather qualitative insights.

Required Skills

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees (MBA, MSc) are advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates with strong academic records and a demonstrated interest in consulting will be prioritized.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy, finance, or a related field. Experience working on client‑facing projects, conducting market research, or developing business strategies is essential. Prior exposure to the Ethiopian market or East African region is highly valued.
Salary
