Job Overview

  • Monitor cargo status using Maersk’s digital platforms, proactively addressing delays or exceptions.
  • Communicate shipment updates to customers, providing clear and accurate information on ETAs and any issues.
  • Collaborate with inland transport partners to arrange trucking, rail, or multimodal movements as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, freight costs, and performance metrics.

  • Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols throughout all logistics activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding, customs procedures, and Ethiopian trade regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Maersk Spot, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Amharic; additional language proficiency is a plus.

Education
