We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Analyst to join our team in Gambela, Ethiopia. As a Geospatial Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support business decision-making.
Job Overview
The Geospatial Data Analyst will work closely with our team of GIS professionals to analyze and interpret geospatial data from a variety of sources, including satellite imagery, GPS data, and other geospatial datasets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial technology, including GIS and mapping software, as well as experience working with large datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data to support business decision-making
- Develop and maintain geospatial databases and datasets
- Work with GIS software, including ArcGIS and QGIS
- Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize geospatial data needs
- Develop and deliver reports and presentations to stakeholders
Required Skills
- Strong background in geospatial technology, including GIS and mapping software
- Experience working with large datasets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Technology or related field
