Job Overview

The Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist will support Enel Green Power Ethiopia’s mission by evaluating the ecological footprint of new energy projects and ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments for renewable energy projects.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and environmental organizations.
  • Monitor and analyze environmental data to identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in environmental impact assessment methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
