Job Overview

The Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day management of AWS’s cloud infrastructure in the Dessie region. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of AWS cloud infrastructure in Dessie, ensuring 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
• Monitor system health, conduct capacity planning, and implement scaling strategies to support increasing workloads.
• Coordinate incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem processes to continuously improve reliability.
• Enforce security policies, compliance standards, and data protection measures in line with AWS best practices and Ethiopian regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, networking, and support teams to deploy new services, upgrades, and patches.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Education
