Job Overview

The AI Solutions Architect will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise‑grade artificial intelligence solutions for Microsoft Ethiopia’s clients. Key Responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end AI solutions leveraging Azure AI services, OpenAI models, and custom machine‑learning pipelines.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define solution scope, and create technical roadmaps.
• Design data ingestion, preprocessing, and model training workflows that meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept initiatives and pilot deployments, ensuring successful transition to production environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering best practices in AI development and DevOps.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applicability to client challenges.
• Document architecture designs, implementation guides, and operational procedures for internal and client use.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python, R, or Java for AI/ML development.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL pipelines, data lakes, and big‑data platforms.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Effective communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Project management experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Education

A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or similar are highly desirable.

Experience
