Job Overview

The Senior Cloud Solutions Architect will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions for Microsoft’s enterprise customers in Ethiopia. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
  • Strong understanding of networking, identity management, and security in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps pipelines.
  • Certification such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert is highly preferred.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Candidates holding a master’s degree or advanced certifications in cloud technologies will be given priority consideration.

Experience

Minimum of eight years of hands‑on experience designing and delivering cloud solutions for large‑scale enterprises, with at least three years in a senior or lead architect role. Prior experience in the Ethiopian market or similar emerging economies is advantageous.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 350,000 to 500,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and stock options may be included for exceptional contributors.
