Job Overview

The Agricultural Machinery Sales Manager will lead the sales operations for John Deere’s portfolio of tractors, combine harvesters, planters, and precision agriculture technologies in the Southern region. Reporting to the National Sales Director, the manager will develop and execute market penetration strategies, build strong relationships with large farms, cooperatives, and government programs, and drive revenue growth while ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan targeting large‑scale farms, agribusinesses, and public sector projects in the Southern region.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities, achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, providing consultative support and ensuring high levels of after‑sales service.
  • Collaborate with the technical service team to deliver product demonstrations, field trials, and training sessions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product positioning and promotional strategies.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analytics for senior management.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in B2B sales of agricultural equipment or related heavy machinery.
