Our Water Resources Management team is responsible for providing technical assistance and financial support to our client countries to improve their water resources management practices. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sustainable Water Management Specialist to join our team.

Job Overview

The Sustainable Water Management Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our client countries to improve their water resources management practices. This will involve working with government officials, water utilities, and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable water management plans.

The Specialist will also be responsible for providing technical support to our client countries to improve their water resources management practices. This will involve conducting assessments of water resources management practices, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to our client countries to improve their water resources management practices.
  • Work with government officials, water utilities, and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable water management plans.
  • Conduct assessments of water resources management practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs for government officials, water utilities, and other stakeholders on sustainable water management practices.

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Water Resources Management or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in water resources management, including experience in developing and implementing sustainable water management plans.
  • Strong technical skills in water resources management, including experience with water resources modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including experience working with government officials, water utilities, and other stakeholders.

Education

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Water Resources Management or a related field. A Ph.D. in Water Resources Management or a related field is an asset.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in water resources management, including experience in developing and implementing sustainable water management plans. Experience working with government officials, water utilities, and other stakeholders is an asset.

Salary

The salary for this position is 50,000 – 70,000 SSP per month.
