We are seeking a Sustainable Water Management Specialist to join our team in Hawassa, Ethiopia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the Government of Ethiopia in the area of sustainable water management.
Job Overview
The Sustainable Water Management Specialist will work closely with the Government of Ethiopia to develop and implement sustainable water management strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable water management strategies
- Provide technical assistance to the Government of Ethiopia in the area of sustainable water management
- Conduct research and analysis on sustainable water management practices
- Develop and implement water conservation programs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable water management policies
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Water Resources Management or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in sustainable water management
- Strong technical skills in water resources management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Education
The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in Water Resources Management or a related field. A Ph.D. in Water Resources Management or a related field is an asset.
Experience
The successful candidate must have 8-12 years of experience in sustainable water management. Experience in a developing country is an asset.
Salary
The salary for this position is 80,000 – 120,000 SSP per year.
