Job Overview

The Senior Telecommunications Network Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale network infrastructures. This role is critical for ensuring that our telecommunications services in the Dire Dawa region meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and performance. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect complex end-to-end telecommunications network solutions including 4G/5G and IP-based systems.

• Conduct rigorous network performance analysis and provide architectural solutions for optimization.
• Develop technical standards and best practices for network deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills

• Expertise in LTE, 5G NR, and IMS architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of IP networking, including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols.
• Proficiency in network virtualization and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex network troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills to present technical designs to non-technical stakeholders.

Education

A Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field is required. A PhD in a specialized technical field is highly preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications network design and architecture is mandatory. Proven experience in large-scale carrier-grade network deployments is essential. Candidates should have a track record of managing complex technical projects from conception to completion.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 75,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and technical certifications.
