Job Overview

The Lead 5G Core Solutions Architect will spearhead the design, deployment, and optimization of end‑to‑end 5G core networks for Huawei’s Ethiopian customers. Reporting to the Head of Network Architecture, the incumbent will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including product management, R&D, and field engineering, to translate market requirements into robust, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end 5G core solutions, including control plane, user plane, and service orchestration components.
• Lead technical pre‑sales activities, develop detailed solution designs, and produce high‑quality proposal documents.
• Collaborate with product managers to align roadmap features with customer needs in the Ethiopian market.
• Conduct feasibility studies, network simulations, and performance benchmarking for 5G core deployments.
• Provide on‑site technical guidance during installation, integration, and commissioning phases.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in 5G core network architecture, including SA/NSA modes, network slicing, and cloud‑native deployments.

• Hands‑on experience with telecom protocols such as SIP, Diameter, SCTP, and HTTP/2.
