Job Overview
The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that every product leaving our Adama facility meets the rigorous standards set by both Heineken Global and local regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) across the production lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality technicians and laboratory analysts to ensure precision in testing.
- Conduct regular audits of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Manage non-conformance reports and lead root cause analysis for any deviations in product quality.
- Collaborate with the production and supply chain departments to minimize waste and optimize resource usage.
- Ensure all food safety protocols, including HACCP and ISO standards, are strictly followed.
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of food safety management systems and chemical analysis techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities in a high-pressure manufacturing setting.
- Expertise in statistical process control (SPC) and continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and quality management software.
Education
A Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field is mandatory. A Bachelor’s degree with significant specialized experience may be considered in exceptional cases.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance within the FMCG or beverage industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. Salary
