Job Overview

The Senior Crop Protection Specialist will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of Bayer’s crop protection portfolio for key staple and cash crops cultivated in the southern region. Reporting to the Regional Crop Science Manager, the specialist will collaborate with local agronomists, research institutions, and farmer cooperatives to tailor solutions that address pest pressures, disease challenges, and climate variability. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute field trials for new and existing crop protection products across diverse agro‑ecological zones in the Tegadir region.
• Analyze trial data, generate technical reports, and provide actionable recommendations to improve product performance.
• Collaborate with local research institutes, universities, and government agencies to align product development with national agricultural policies.
• Deliver technical training and workshops to extension officers, farmer groups, and sales teams on integrated pest management and product usage.
• Monitor pest and disease trends, and advise on resistance management strategies.
• Support the regulatory affairs team in preparing dossiers for product registration and compliance.

Required Skills

Education
