Job Overview
The Hospitality Guest Relations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction at our Lalibela property. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the guest relations department to ensure seamless check-in and check-out experiences.
- Develop and implement personalized guest recognition programs to enhance loyalty.
- Manage and resolve complex guest complaints with a focus on immediate and satisfactory resolution.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Food & Beverage departments to ensure all guest preferences are met prior to arrival.
- Analyze guest feedback and reviews to implement service improvement strategies.
- Train and mentor front-line staff on luxury service protocols and emotional intelligence.
- Maintain high standards of communication between the front office and management.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Deep understanding of luxury hospitality service standards.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to interact with diverse international clientele.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications in luxury service management are highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-end hotel environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Proven experience in handling VIP guests and managing guest relations in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role.
Salary
