Job Overview
The E-commerce Marketplace Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and operational excellence of our third-party seller ecosystem in the Bahir Dar region. This role is critical for ensuring that our marketplace remains competitive, diverse, and highly efficient. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to onboard high-quality vendors to the marketplace.
- Monitor seller performance metrics to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to optimize product categories and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and delivery processes.
- Manage promotional campaigns and seasonal sales events to drive platform traffic and conversion.
- Resolve complex vendor disputes and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking using Excel or BI tools.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills for vendor acquisition.
- Deep understanding of digital marketplace dynamics and e-commerce logistics.
- Excellent communication skills in both Amharic and English.

Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is required. An MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, retail operations, or marketplace development. Proven track record of managing vendor portfolios and driving revenue growth is essential. Experience in the Ethiopian retail sector is a significant advantage.
Salary
