Job Overview
The Digital Payments Product Manager will lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Kifiya’s digital payment products, from concept through launch and continuous improvement. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, design, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure product-market fit and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, roadmap, and go‑to‑market strategy for digital payment solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into detailed specifications.
- Prioritize features and manage product backlog using agile methodologies.
- Oversee product testing, user acceptance, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Monitor product performance metrics and drive data‑based enhancements.
- Engage with merchants and end‑users to gather feedback and improve user experience.
- Prepare business cases, financial models, and ROI analyses for new initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of digital payments, fintech ecosystems, and financial regulations in Ethiopia.
- Proven product management experience with agile development teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in Product Management, FinTech, or Business Analytics are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of five years of product management experience, preferably within digital payments, mobile money, or related financial technology solutions. Demonstrated success in launching and scaling products in emerging markets is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 250,000 to SSP 350,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and equity incentives may be offered.
