Job Overview
This role focuses on optimizing agricultural supply chain operations for OCP Group Ethiopia’s fertilizer distribution network. The ideal candidate will analyze data, coordinate with stakeholders, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency in Ethiopia’s agricultural value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis to identify supply chain inefficiencies in fertilizer distribution
- Collaborate with local farmers and cooperatives to improve agricultural input accessibility
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics partners
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand for agricultural products
- Prepare reports on supply chain performance metrics for senior management
Required Skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of Ethiopian agricultural practices and challenges
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in both office and field environments
- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Advanced degree preferred (Master’s in Agricultural Economics or Logistics)
Experience
