Job Overview

The Senior Logistics Operations Manager will lead the Arba Minch operations team, overseeing end‑to‑end logistics processes, including inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance, warehouse management, and last‑mile delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators, warehouse staff, and transportation specialists.
• Design and optimize workflow processes to achieve on‑time delivery targets and cost efficiencies.
• Manage relationships with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and local carriers to ensure smooth clearance and transport.
• Implement performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and generate regular reports for senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analytics and lean methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards across all operations.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to align operational capacity with market demand.

Required Skills

Experience

A minimum of eight years of progressive experience in logistics operations, with at least three years in a supervisory or managerial role, is required. Experience within the Ethiopian market or East African region is highly preferred.

Salary
