Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hydraulic Systems Designer to join our specialized engineering team in Semera. Key Responsibilities
- Design complex hydraulic circuits and schematics for heavy-duty industrial machinery using advanced CAD software.
- Perform detailed fluid flow simulations and pressure drop calculations to ensure system efficiency.
- Select appropriate hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses, based on specific operational requirements.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing department to ensure designs are feasible for production and assembly.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hydraulic prototypes to meet international safety and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design flaws identified during the testing phase or in the field.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, parts lists, and maintenance manuals.
Required Skills
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or specialized hydraulic simulation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic principles, including Pascal’s Law, fluid mechanics, and control theory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex mechanical integration issues.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and complex engineering specifications accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple design iterations simultaneously.
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory. Advanced certification in hydraulic systems design or fluid power technology is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hydraulic system design, specifically within the heavy machinery or industrial automation sectors. Proven experience in simulating fluid power systems and working with large-scale mechanical assemblies is essential. Salary
