Role Purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory records within ERP systems, and ensuring seamless coordination between warehouse and financial processes. This role is essential for optimizing workflows, ensuring data integrity, and supporting efficient logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership and Supervision

  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards
  • Develop and maintain a warehouse operations playbook, ensuring processes are clearly documented and regularly updated
  • Foster a strong team culture aligned with company values, promoting continuous improvement and accountability

2. Inventory and ERP System Management

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods with accurate inventory tracking in WMS and ERP systems
  • Manage financial master data such as cost centers and bill of materials (BOM) within the ERP system
  • Ensure integration of production and financial data for accurate reporting
  • Identify opportunities to enhance ERP system efficiency and maintain compliance with internal controls and audit standards

3. Order Fulfillment

  • Coordinate picking, packing, and shipping activities to meet delivery timelines
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, manufacturing, import operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing
  • Monitor shipments and resolve discrepancies or delays in coordination with logistics teams

4. Inventory Valuation and Cost Control

  • Manage inventory valuation, including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods
  • Monitor production costs and standard costing within the ERP system
  • Reconcile inventory records with financial reports to ensure accuracy and transparency

5. Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards, including proper use of PPE
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
  • Enforce company policies related to operational safety and compliance

6. Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, warehouse performance, and order fulfillment
  • Ensure timely and accurate digital reporting in line with company requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
