Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software to predict future production profiles.
  • Conduct detailed material balance calculations and decline curve analysis to evaluate well performance.
  • Develop and optimize field development plans (FDP) to maximize asset value and recovery factors.
  • Collaborate with drilling and production teams to optimize well placement and completion strategies.
  • Monitor real-time production data and perform pressure transient analysis to identify reservoir trends.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management regarding reservoir health and potential risks.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software such as Eclipse or CMG.
  • Expertise in petrophysical interpretation and fluid characterization.
  • Strong mathematical modeling and statistical analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a high-pressure environment.

Education

A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a closely related Geosciences field is required. A PhD is highly preferred for this senior-level technical position.

Experience
