Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring that all manufacturing processes meet the highest international standards of safety and quality. This position involves rigorous inspections, documentation review, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of production lines to ensure compliance with ISO and local regulatory standards.
  • Monitor raw material quality upon arrival to prevent contamination in the production cycle.
  • Document all non-compliance issues and lead root cause analysis investigations.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) methods.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities in English and Amharic.
  • Ability to manage complex documentation and audit trails.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline is mandatory. Professional certification in Quality Management Systems (QMS) is highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector. Previous experience in auditing or regulatory compliance is essential for success in this role.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and technical expertise.
