Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our growing security operations center in Dire Dawa. This role is critical in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating emerging cyber threats before they can impact our clients. You will be responsible for monitoring global threat landscapes, analyzing malware samples, and producing actionable intelligence reports. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). As part of our team, you will contribute to the development of proactive defense mechanisms and help shape the security posture of organizations across the region. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor global threat feeds and intelligence sources to identify emerging cyber threats.
  • Analyze malware samples and adversary behavior to understand attack patterns.
  • Produce detailed intelligence reports for stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with incident response teams to provide context during active breaches.
  • Develop and refine detection rules and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
  • Conduct proactive threat hunting activities within complex network environments.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in using SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities regarding complex data sets.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for intelligence reporting.
  • Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required. Certifications such as GCTI, CEH, or CISSP are highly desirable.

Experience

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity analysis, threat intelligence, or incident response is required for this position.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 75,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical expertise.
