Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Incident Responder to join our elite Security Operations Center. This role is critical for identifying, investigating, and mitigating advanced cyber threats that target our clients’ infrastructure. You will be at the forefront of digital defense, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to neutralize malware, ransomware, and unauthorized intrusions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex forensic investigations to determine the scope and impact of security breaches.
- Perform real-time monitoring and rapid response to security alerts and anomalies.
- Develop and implement containment and eradication strategies for active threats.
- Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen organizational security posture.
- Document all incident response activities and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in network security protocols and forensic analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of malware behavior, including ransomware and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Strong communication skills for translating technical findings into actionable business intelligence.
- Expertise in SIEM, EDR, and SOAR technologies.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, or CEH are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in cybersecurity incident response or digital forensics. Proven experience in managing large-scale security breaches and working within a 24/7 SOC environment is essential. We are looking for professionals who have demonstrated success in identifying sophisticated attack patterns.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 85,000 SSP to 120,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and technical certifications. This competitive package reflects the critical nature of the role within our security operations.
