The E-commerce Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in scaling our digital marketplace within the Bahir Dar region. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily e-commerce fulfillment operations to ensure 99% on-time delivery rates.
• Optimize inventory management systems to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Manage local third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure last-mile delivery efficiency.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor a team of warehouse supervisors and logistics coordinators.
• Implement cost-saving measures in packaging and transportation without compromising quality.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for decision-making.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of local Ethiopian logistics and customs regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Amharic.
• Project management expertise in high-pressure environments.

Education

A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and significant specialized experience in e-commerce operations may also be considered.

Experience

Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the e-commerce, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
