Job Overview

The Pharmaceutical Market Access Manager will lead the development and execution of market access strategies for AstraZeneca’s portfolio of medicines in Ethiopia.   • Engage with government agencies, insurance providers, and professional associations to negotiate pricing and reimbursement terms.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams to align market access plans with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze policy changes, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust strategies proactively.
  • Prepare and present compelling value dossiers, budget impact models, and cost‑effectiveness analyses.
  • Lead cross‑functional workshops and training sessions on market access concepts and processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions and agreements in compliance with internal and external regulations.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with expertise in health economics, pricing, and reimbursement frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, capable of building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and market research methodologies.
