Job Overview

The Textile Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance lifecycle of garment production within our Hawassa facility. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality control protocols for all stages of textile production, from raw material inspection to final packaging.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of quality controllers, providing continuous training on AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.
• Conduct regular audits of the production line to identify bottlenecks and quality lapses, implementing immediate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate the quality of incoming fabrics and trims from global suppliers.
• Analyze quality data to identify recurring defects and lead root-cause analysis meetings to prevent future occurrences.
• Ensure full compliance with international health, safety, and environmental standards within the quality department.
• Prepare detailed quality reports for senior management and international stakeholders, highlighting KPIs and improvement areas.

• Expert knowledge of textile chemistry, fabric construction, and garment assembly techniques.
• Proficiency in using statistical process control (SPC) tools to monitor production quality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage large teams in a fast-paced environment.

Education
