Position Overview
DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a highly organized and proactive HR & Admin Officer to support human resource functions and office administration activities in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will assist in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training coordination, records management, and administrative operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and Ethiopian labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment processes including vacancy announcements, screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR databases.
- Coordinate staff attendance, leave management, and performance review processes.
- Support payroll preparation and employee benefits administration.
- Handle office administration, procurement coordination, and vendor communication.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and workplace regulations.
- Organize employee engagement and staff welfare programs.
- Prepare HR and administrative reports for management review.
- Coordinate training sessions and professional development initiatives.
- Manage office supplies, inventory records, and facility maintenance requirements.
- Assist with disciplinary procedures and employee grievance resolution.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification is an added advantage.
- Training in labor law, office administration, or employee relations is desirable.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR and administrative operations.
- Experience handling recruitment, onboarding, and personnel administration.
- Knowledge of HR information systems and payroll support functions.
- Experience working in multinational or corporate environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment regulations and HR best practices.
