Job Overview

The Supply Chain Procurement Officer will play a critical role in managing our local vendor relationships and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services required for our regional operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor vendor performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure service level agreements are met.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and contract documentation.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with both company policies and Ethiopian regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

  • Advanced negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret complex data for procurement forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Amharic.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification in procurement (such as CIPS) is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the logistics or manufacturing sectors. Salary
