Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Urban Planning Specialist to join our team in Mekelle, Ethiopia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, with a focus on sustainable development and urban design.
The role will involve working closely with clients to develop and implement sustainable urban planning strategies, as well as collaborating with our team of experts to design and deliver urban planning projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable urban planning strategies for clients in Ethiopia and other countries
- Collaborate with our team of experts to design and deliver urban planning projects
- Conduct research and analysis on urban planning issues and trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Prepare and present reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on sustainable development and urban design
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
