Job Overview
The Automotive Production Planner will coordinate and optimize the manufacturing schedule for Toyota Ethiopia’s vehicle assembly plant in Dire Dawa. - Utilize ERP and advanced planning software to analyze capacity constraints and propose line balancing solutions.
- Coordinate with the quality department to integrate quality checkpoints into the production flow, minimizing rework.
- Prepare regular reports on production KPIs, including OEE, lead time, and inventory turnover, for senior management review.
- Participate in cross‑functional continuous improvement projects, applying lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the production process.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and production planning tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Education

Experience
