Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site investigations, including soil sampling, borehole drilling, and laboratory testing to assess ground conditions.
• Develop geotechnical designs, foundation recommendations, and slope stability analyses for bridges, roads, and building foundations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, design calculations, and construction drawings in compliance with international standards and Ethiopian regulations.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, and environmental engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.
• Monitor construction activities on site, ensuring that workmanship, materials, and methods adhere to design specifications and safety protocols.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to ground conditions, groundwater, and seismic activity.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field staff.
• Coordinate with local authorities, consultants, and community stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and address concerns.
• Utilize advanced software tools such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, and AutoCAD Civil 3D for modeling and analysis.

Education
